The Quintessenz Kalterersee Classico Superiore 2021 was rewarded for the third time (after the vintages 2017 and 2020) with the highest award "Tre Bicchieri" of the renowned Italian wine guide "Vini d'Italia" by Gambero Rosso. Thus, the Premium Schiava of the Cantina Kaltern is once again among the best wines of Italy. The Quintessenz Kalterersee convinced the tasting jury with its freshness, fruity notes and fine tannin structure.
In addition to the "Tre Bicchieri", the 2021 vintage of Quintessenz Kalterersee received other outstanding awards and top accolades:
Slow Wine, the wine guide published by Slow Food, crowned it with the highest award "Top Wine". Doctor Wine, the wine guide of the Italian wine journalist Daniele Cernilli, rated the Quintessenz with 94 points and awarded for the best price-performance ratio. With 94 points out of a possible 100, wine critic Luca Maroni also gave the wine a very high score.
